How to start your journey with eyeyoga and have it easily a part of everyday life?
I have realised from personal experience, that yoga is a much more than just doing asanas. For me it´s staying present and doing things that help me to see myself more clear and feel more connected, or, even heal my emotional traumas..
It´s a way of life. It´s meditation, so it´s listening the truth, but it´s also taking care of your body, mind and soul.
Yoga has taught me a lot, but most of all, it has showed me, how important it is to have my own peace of mind and to create my personal happiness.For me life is learning about true Love, and yoga has been always there for me, like a real friend in need.
Eyes are said to be the mirrors of the Soul, so if we want to change how we see things, we need to change how we look at them. That´s why Eyeyoga is taking care of our whole being, and not just the eyes..
Eyeyoga includes movement, full body and mind relaxation, darkness, visualizations, meditation, good nutrition and connecting.. Our biggest vision organs are the brains, and not the eyes like many of us may think.
You can start with these practises. More will come in time…. <3
First of all, be without glasses and blink a lot. If you don´t use your eyes completely, how they could get better…? Only use glasses when it feels necessary and try to focus on breathing and blinking your eyes. Blinking is the most easiest and naturalistic way to relax the eyes.
Relax your mind, body, face and eyes. Also when making the eye movements, try to relax your face, mind and whole body, and try to only move your eyes.
Notice, if you are not relaxed, and just try to chill with it… Don´t force anything to happen, just let the relaxation happen. It will come, when you are ready. Just breathe and be.
Trust the present moment and the road of Life. Try to not have too big expectations about yourself and how you should feel or how things should be. We should do or be nothing more, and we could do anything we want. Stress is only a creation of the mind.
One time in a middle of some life crises, when i just let go of the bullshit and focused staying me, i noticed words in my head, that said, “what ever you do in Love, you can never go wrong. Just focus on the positivity, release the negativity and move on… ” I counted my blessings and felt happy and trusting again.
Be happy. I have noticed that when i´m happy i have everything i need, or it´s on it´s way.
I feel so high when im happy and Life seems to be orgastic, i could say. I forget the time when i´m happy or fully enjoying myself. Days can easily go by and giving just lots of other things to do, or just nothing at all, or good people, powerful learnings, and other prosperity is flowing into my life…i just need to allow good things to happen and trust that i´m always at the right time in a right place, with the right people… And that´s…i believe… is the beauty of being in that high flying flow, that many of us may very well know.. 🙂
It´s important to feel everything that we are feeling and what is coming, and not try to lie that everything is good if it´s not…Sadness, pain, lost, anger, fear, doubts etc. can also be really therapeutic, if we own our emotions, let ourselfs feel them, trying to notice it´s divine healing change that is giving to us and carry on. Take all the time you need, you do not owe anything to anybody, really.
If you really want to fly, the attitude of gratitude, will give you the highest altitude
Try to Feel connected with nature, kids, animals, music, with your own Life energy, with people, with your whole body, heart and your eyes.
Humans are mostly salty water. So are the eyes. They are doing their marvelous job as great as they can, so be happy for them and feel their softness and watering feeling. When we feel the connection with life around us, its more easy to live good for ourself and others.
Practise makes perfect and Visualization helps a lot. Daydreaming is seriously healthy thing to do, which is the stuff, i always Love to know…
Meditate in movement: Stay in present when you; walk, work, be around your loved ones, when you Dance, do karma yoga, run, clean, or make Love, try to be there in peace, with your whole divine self. Stay there.. Meditation is the truth. Its being present, just staying in yourself, in whatever we are doing.
It tells you, who you are now. Not who you were or who u are going to be.
Meditate in silence. It´s easy, and so hard at the same time, even though we just have to be and breathe 😉
Breath Deep and just be. Meditation is the only practise that relax the whole brain at the same time. It cannot be done by any other things, not by movement, art, music, etc… Meditation is the best, but do it for the rest. 😉 Meditation should bring us nothing, but it can teach us everything.
Do your yoga practise, even 15 minutes in a day can be enough, if you don´t have time for longer practise. But just do it. Make it one of your daily or weekly rutines, and you will start waiting for it, simply because you are loving it.
Yoga will teach us who we are. Its not exercise, its always a journey into self. Before we do asana practise, is important to create some peace of mind, so our body can truly relax and yoga can do it´s magic.
When we practise on our own, we realize with time, that we don´t need anybody else to guide us trough our life, or even in our yoga practise.
Watch the mind. “Mind is a good employ, but a very lousy boss”.
Mind is trying to stick its nose into everything. Notice what it tells you and how you are talking to yourself.
Our mind is our moving force, moving us trough our (e)motions coming from subconscious mind, which is programmed by our life´s past experiences…
Most of the stuff in our heads are just lies, coming from a perspective of a child, and at least for me, it´s a really helpful fact to know…
I believe one of the minds biggest jobs is to create problems.. Scientists have found out, that we have about 60 000 thoughts in a day! That´s a huge waste of energy, to be somewhere else than right here.
I can only say, that i have came to a really powerful conclusion, that our only real property are the thoughts in our head.
Happy thoughts can also be great, but sometimes it just cannot help us from feeling sad, tired, or even worthless… Just simply observe the mind sometimes. Especially if you are feeling some negative emotions, try to feel, where they are coming from?
Notice that they are not part of you and they come and goes as the wind in a hair.
Notice, that this is also true with happy thoughts, but somehow we seem to notice the negativities more.
Unfulfilled expectations create also too much negativity and can be the monsters between us and our peace of mind. Just say Fuck it and carry om! 🙂
Focus on the details. What ever you are looking at, focus on it. Don´t just look, but really see the things you are looking at.
Try to observe without judgement. imare their beauty. Try to see them as they are. All in this planet have their divine purpose and its own form.
Don´t take other person´s shits to carry. Everybody have their own paths in Life. We should be there for others but it doesn´t mean, that it means to going into misery with them.
Take full responsibility of yourself. Everything you have in your life is there because of you. Our outer world is just a reflection from what is inside.
Our thoughts, actions, feelings and reactions are only created by us.
There can have been some situations in our lifes, that has thought us react in sertant way, but still, it´s all in our responsibility what we do in life, how we think and how we treat ourselfs and others..
Read a lot without glasses. And BLINK. A LOT! 🙂 Blinking soothes the mind. It also relaxes and nourishes eyes in the most easy and natural way.
When you are reading, focus on blinking. Try to do it 5 to 10 times in a minute. Reading without glasses can hurt first, or you may feel you see nothing, but just relax, blink and do it more.
Drink. A lot of clean water, also with lemon and lime, homemade (green)juices, Super Smoothies, green-, and herbal tea…. .
Eat good. Lots of veggies, greenies, and colours, like atleast 1 rainbow in a day. Good fats and oils, like hemp-, olive-, flaxseed- and coconut oil…, peanuts, avokados, sunflower seeds etc… berries and (citrus)fruits are great, wild fish and eggs, (not needed necessarily, also flaxseed- and black currant seed oil are including lots of good omegas and a vitamin etc…) whole grains, like quinoa, brown rice, (whole oats and whole-wheat breads and pasta), beans, peas, lentils….
Dairy, glutein, meat, white sugar (especially!), and and light-called stuffs are not so good for anyone…
Clean your body. fluoride, aspartam, and other super toxins are including into some foods, toothpastes, and usually there is lot´s of shit even in water…All what alkalines the body, are also great to clean it.
Try to Clean sometimes yourself also with fasting. But don´t do it alone, if you don´t have normal health, or if you are under some medical treatments… Fasting can be really powerful and learnful experience, which i can only recommend with big smile.
Make your back strong. Make some exercise, it feels good to be strong, but it feels even more good to feel healthy. For whole body and for blood circulation it is important to move and super important for neck and shoulders to keep back strong, to hold it all together. 🙂 Don´t work out too hard though. Be easy with yourself, Allways. <3
Use Natural Light. Candles and fire, Himalajan salt lamp, sunlight….
Do Sungazing. It´s an ancient technic, which existed in various cultures. Sunlight is universal energy and needed for most forms of lifes. Sungazin is maeby not the easiest practise, so please, don´t do it, if you do not feel good about doing it.
But if you do it, do it with the dawn or with the sunset.. (its safe to do around 1 hour after or 1 hour before) Just breath eyes open and watch the sunlight for a short periods of time… Start fist only for about 10 seconds and add everytime 10 seconds, untill you can see it more easy. Sungazing should not be done never ever more than 45 minutes at the time! Relax, look and blink.
Let the sun really come into you and have faith that sun is good for you and for your eyes. Try to look it, like you would look another person. Give it a try. There is a light in our cells and by sungazing we can create more light into our cells, which improves our holistic health.
You can also move your head with a slow movement, like trying to touch your shoulder with your chin, with movement and breathing together- to the left inhale, to the right exhale. You can do this everyday, to 10 to 30 minutes.
Be where the Love is Be with friends and family, who help you grow and make you feel good about yourself, about them and about Life. We become average of 5 closests people, we hang around with, so choose your friends wisely…

Be Love. Compassion is the highest form of Love and i believe it can only be created by meditation and own personal experience. Try to see where other people are coming from. Try to not judge, or carry heavy emotional stuff with you. Release youself.
Think about your heart, feel it and visualize your favorite flower to bloom in there for everybody.
Especially when we are feeling hurted in somehow, or we have some kind of unfulfilled expectations about something, we can feel angry, depressed, or that we wanna defence ourself in some way.
It´s humanly, but it´s also wise, not to react from a place of anger, frustration, or fear.
For me, yoga has thought to notice the divine pause between the things that are happening.
Love yourself fully and do what you Love. Respect others and yourself as you and they are. Loving yourself is choosing yourself´s need´s to be first at the list. Loving yourself is your job, so others can do it too, or make you as an example, how they would like to be someday…
I personally rarely do anything else than what feels to be done, coz it will not be good, if i don´t feel good about it.
Make a list about things you LOVE to do, and start to practise at least one of them everyday. <3 You are worth it! ofcourse! <3
Forgive everybody. It´s only hurting you, if you don´t. Forgiveness is not meaning we approve others bad behaviour, it´s just letting go of the pain.
So forgive yourself, your family, friends, ex lovers, the society you are living in, all human race, the bully at school, asshole at the bar, wanker on the street, dog haters etc… just forgive everybody!
What ever comes, I try to focus on to breathing, feeling myself, and then react hopefully from much more understanding and loving perspective. I have realized that we can never know completely sure what other people are feeling, thinking or why they are acting in a way they are. We all have our own ways and we all should respect that.
Darkness. Be out after dark, or be sometimes at home in darkness, don´t always turn the lights on. You will see more in time… and if you dont, atleast for me it´s nice to try to feel my home, without seeing my home. That´s also more easy if you have more space.
Visualize the darkness. Do palming with warm hands, rub them together and place on top of the eyes, but never put pressure to your face with your hands. If your arms get tired, lean from your elbows to the pelvis, never from hands to face.
More you can see black, the more relaxed are your eyes. Feel that the darkness is deepening with every breath you take and taking over you and your environment.
Palming is one of the most important excercise in eyeyoga. Its important also that your back is loosen up, before you visualize the darkness, so eyes can also fully relax. Do palming during your yoga practise, at the morning while you are still in bed, before going to sleep, or at all those times…
Sunlight. Be in sun every day, if possible. Meditate the sun light into you with closed eyes. At winter, it can be done also at the day time, but summer, it should be done at the mornings, or before the dawn, protecting the eyes from too high UV-light.
Last, but defenetly not least of all, remember ALLways to Celebrate Life and continue growing as a person into your divine faith. Trust it and love the Life.
We cannot know for sure everything what is coming, or where Life is going to take us, sometimes even where is it now….
Life is not easy, it has ever been, or maeby will never be. Our outer world can someday blow apart, but if we trust that universum is on our side, then, it sure is.
I believe our greatest job in this planet is to make us happy. Let go of all the bullshit you don´t really need, and do more good.

I think some of the best news are, that nothing lasts forever. Life is changing every minute, and so are we. 😉
